From different juices, fizzy drinks and ice cream, we do not only receive unnecessary amounts of sugar and chemicals, but we also risk lack of healthy ingredients that the body needs in order to work normally. Therefore, different nutritious smoothies are ideal as refreshments and also as meals during the summer heat.

Algae Chlorella is fantastic for body detoxification. It is known for its positive effects on the health because it contains natural antibiotic substances and prevents from bacterial infections.

The avocado is nutritious, rich with monounsaturated fatty acids. The avocado taste agrees perfectly with the lemon.

Therefore, we suggest two different avocado smoothies which are ideal as refreshments and also as meals during the summer heat.

Avocado Smoothie I

Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado
    1 teaspoon of chlorella
    2 tablespoons of lemon juice
    100 ml of apple juice
    1/4 apples for decoration

Preparation:

Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. With a spoon remove the inside of the avocado from the peel and put it in a blender together with the other ingredients. Pour it in a glass and decorate with slices of apples.

Avocado Smoothie II

Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado
    One handful of baby spinach leaves
    2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
    1 squeezed lemon
    Some sea salt
    150 ml of water

Preparation:

Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. With a spoon remove the inside of the avocado from the peel and put it in a blender together with the other ingredients. Pour it in a glass and decorate with slices of apples.
