Health Benefits of Thyme TeaThe thyme (Thumus Serpyllum) is a favorite remedy in the folk medicine, and has been used for centuries, primarily it is a remedy for the digestive organs. The thyme is used against intestinal parasites, especially against threadworms.

This herb is part of the products which are used in the treatment of the respiratory system. Preparation of the tea:

Therefore, it is recommended to pour boiling water over the thyme, to cover the pot immediately and let it sit for 2 hours.  In order to prepare the tea, you should put two tablespoons of this herb in a cup of boiling water.
