When there is less urine, there are more waste materials and salts. Kidney stones are common, and they mainly occur in one kidney. Usually, there is one stone; situations when there are few stones in the kidney are rare.
The disease usually affects men after the age of 45. In children and people up to 45 years, the stones mainly occur in the bladder. This disease affects people who sweat a lot and lose a lot of fluids when they work, those who do not urinate very often due to the low input of fluids in the organism.
The main sign of the disease is severe pain in the kidney area that spreads along the urinary channel to the groin. The pain is accompanied by nausea and vomiting. The pain is in the form of attacks that last and gradually fade and then come again, that actually is renal colic. With the strong contraction of the ureter, the body tries to eliminate the stone, and it causes severe pain. After each attack at the end of urination there is some blood, and sometimes the whole urine is bloody because the stone damaged the channel.
