The causes for bronchial asthma are different, but most often they are based on allergies. It is a state of hypersensitivity of the organism to certain substances called allergens. It can be inherited or obtained under particular conditions. The most common causes are various infections, infectious processes commonly associated with the colds. The non-infectious allergens are different types of food (eggs, fish, strawberries, salami …), the pollen from the plants, dust, animal hair, aromas etc.
To use honey for asthma treatment use one of the following recipes:
Onion and honey tea
Boil 6 cloves of onion with the peel in 1 l of water for 10-15 minutes.
Add 100 g of honey in 100 ml of the strained tea. You should take this amount two times a day, in the morning and in the evening.
Mixture of horseradish and honey
Mix equal amounts of grated fresh horseradish and honey and keep it in a glass jar with a lid. At the beginning of the treatment, you should take one teaspoon one hour before a meal. Gradually, depending on the way you can take it, you should increase the dose and it can reach to 4 teaspoons one hour before a meal. When your stomach gets used to the horseradish, you can use a tablespoon of this mixture. The treatment lasts for 30 days.
The treatment should be conducted twice a year, in spring and in autumn.
